INTRODUCTORY COURSES

The Upledger CranioSacral Therapy courses are designed for professional healthcare practitioners, students in healthcare programs nearing completion of their studies or graduates awaiting license/accreditation with experience in manual therapy and anatomical knowledge. Examples include: Osteopath, Chiropractor, Physiotherapist, Acupuncturist, Massage Therapist (NZQA level 4 and above or equivalent).

If you are not a professional healthcare practitioner or student in a healthcare program nearing completion please contact the office to discuss your study pathway options which will include attending a one day Introduction to CranioSacral Therapy and completing prerequisite Anatomy & Physiology and Pathology study prior to attending CST1.

Upledger Health Science Essentials (UHSE): on-line Anatomy & Physiology and Pathology

The UHSE program has been developed for students who do not have a hands on license or certification as a therapist and have not studied Anatomy, Physiology and Pathology. The program fulfills the prerequisite education requirement for CranioSacral Therapy 1 and for CranioSacral Therapy Certification in New Zealand.

This prerequisite courses comprise of 80 hours Applied Anatomy and Physiology and 15 hours Pathology, the UHSE program will help to build a solid foundation of essential academic knowledge to be applied in a treatment setting as well as in any future medical studies.
